- weather you are looking to get a more budget friendly price and are willing to use cheaper grade materials - (not including 3-tab shingles) you should still know what kind of warranty you are receiving from the contractor and the manufacturer and of course if you are looking to get a premium roof replacement with the best warranties you NEED to know what kind of material your contractor is going to be using

2. What is the size of my roof? How many Squares?

- If you do not see any measurements on the estimate that is not a good sign of an honest estimate, you as the homeowner need to know what rate per square you are getting on your homes roof replacement

3. Is my roof properly ventilated??

- Your roofing contractor should be able to tell right off the bat if your roof/attic is ventilated properly. Example: your roof might seem to have lots of blistering. This means the shingles are getting too hot and eating themselves inside out - causing blistering which is granule loss and shingles deteriorating. If this is the case the right contractor will go into the attic and make an inspection.

4. I wonder if my decking is okay, will there be any additional cost?

- Decking is a huge factor when it comes to the roof replacement.
